Acting has always been a passion for Beatrice and in 1989, she entered horror history by landing the role of Amanda Krueger, mother to the iconic slasher movie villain Freddy Krueger, in A Nightmare on Elm Street 5: The Dream Child.
Although Amanda Krueger may be the role Beatrice might be known for, there is so much more to her than that. A life that has spanned multiple countries, Beatrice definitely has a story to tell: teaching English in Taiwan, living in India and nearly becoming a monk, and becoming a yoga instructor after moving back to the States while continuing her break from Hollywood.
The acting bug eventually bit her again and she's been in countless independent and short films in the last few years. What's it like getting back into the swing of acting? How does she feel when she sees all the love for her character after all these years? What was it like playing the mother of yet ANOTHER horror icon?
From acting with Johnny Depp and Emilio Estevez to writing a book about Amanda Krueger, to co-writing and co-producing her first dramatic short known as "The Final Walk," there are lots of things to talk about with this well-traveled actress.
