Hey all!! Long time no see on the pod, but today we are back with a juicy topic that's been cooking in my brain for the past couple of years. There's a lot of talk of the intersection between AI and spirituality and honestly.... as a psychic/energy worker, I'm not loving what I'm hearing. A huge topic has been circulating is adopting AI and chat gpt as a literal spirit guide. A confidant to help shape your life and provide spiritual advice to help along your path. As a mystic who centers sovereignty as a core piece of their own spiritual journey, I find this sentiment to be very dangerous.
For me, sovereignty is the ability to step into my truest self and determination to remove limiting beliefs, patterns, and inorganic energies that wish to manipulate my energy to fulfill their own goals without my permission or awareness. AI (in a spiritual context, as an entity or spirit guide) is an inorganic energy that disrupts our connection to Self and Source. Before giving your power to something else, tap into your own wisdom and intuition--this is where your evolution happens, where you talk to your actual spirit guides, and most of all Source/Universe/God/Creator.
