Centered in an area of Pennsylvania, full of anthracite coal, is a town with no zip code: Centralia. But it hasn't always been abandoned. From the early 1800s to the early 1900s the town was a bustling small coal mining town with a railroad nearby. In 1962 something major would happen that would forever change the town: it caught fire! But not just any fire. The fire under the town ignited the coal and is expected to continue to burn for another 250 years! Join us as we cover the history of this town, how coal became a staple product, how the fire began and what has happened in the years since 1962.
