We'll realize, as the Apollo astronaut Edgar Mitchell said--his life transformed by seeing the Earth from space--"We Are One." Faster than light, these good thoughts will infuse the Universe, rippling into the vast celestial realms. And then, finally, we'll become welcomed ambassadors to the Cosmos. The words of the great John Lennon come to mind as I write this, "You may say I'm a dreamer, But I'm not the only one, I hope someday you'll join us, And the world will be as One..."

Once upon a time, there was a very special person--a woman who stood barely five feet tall, but whose love illuminated everything she encountered. When I was a little girl, she came to be with me as my nanny. As time went on, her care would nurture my life and my soul. Years later, we were walking together in New York City. That experience is what I share with you here--her admiration for a tiny flower growing from the subway grate, somehow surviving the bustling crowds, created a timeless moment I'll remember always--a glimpse of Heaven on Earth.
