The words of the great John Lennon come to mind as I write this, "You may say I'm a dreamer, But I'm not the only one, I hope someday you'll join us, And the world will be as One..."

A chance encounter on a seaside path, led to insights into history and one of my favorite songs, "Amazing Grace." It also gave me pause to consider--what is 'grace, really? And what does it means for our consciousness to shift, so a new life on this planet can come into being. I cite, also, a conversation with Apollo astronaut, Edgar Mitchell, as he glimpsed our world, for the first time, from space.
