Hosted by local musician Ben Davis, Jr., each show will be broadcast live on Pure Rock 105.5 FM WXTQ & 98.7 FM WYRO as well as streaming on the Total Media Radio smartphone app. Beginning June 29 and running through September, new episodes will air on Thursday nights at 7:00 p.m. Each episode will later be available on demand with the Homegrown Happy Hour with Ben Davis Jr. podcast available on all major podcast providers including Apple Podcasts & Spotify.

Megan Bee is a singer-songwriter from Athens, OH who writes with an unquenchable wanderlust and a deep love for the land. Her 2022 album "Cottonwood" has been called "as real as it gets – a raw and real telling of engaging, relatable stories."

Her music is a blend of distinctly homespun vocals, acoustic simplicity, yearning soulfulness, and winsome storytelling. Her background as an environmental educator, traveling farmhand, and vagabond once took her into a desert wilderness where she found her voice around a campfire. She bases out of the rolling hills of Athens, Ohio, and draws influence from the collision of Appalachian folk and modern songwriting.
