A Homegrown Finale: It's Not Goodbye, It's See You Later

It’s so bittersweet. We deeply appreciate all of you who have joined us and listened to this project and labor of love over the years. With over 140 episodes of Maine-based true crime, paranormal, and spooky stories (and 40+ bonus episodes!), we are proud of what we have accomplished and what we came here to create.

We are closing down this project not because we have necessarily run out of stories to tell, but because our personal stories are changing. We have other projects on the horizon that we would like to venture toward and, while we will always have a sacred place in our hearts for Homegrown Horror, it is truly a labor of love, requiring hours upon hours of research, creativity, writing, recording, and editing. We felt it was time to let it go before we ran ourselves completely ragged trying to juggle it all.
We do also have a hope that maybe folks will come and find us “post mortem,” if you will, and listen to some of these stories, enjoy them, and share them. We will still be posting episode updates for the backlog of posts we didn’t get to at the time of sharing the weekly episodes and bonus episodes and are happy to respond to questions and community.
Saying goodbye is never easy. But, you haven’t seen the last of the misadventures of B and Jackson, a cohost and a cohost.

It’s not goodbye, just so long for now.
With love - B & Jackson
