There is so much value in understanding another person. Everyone wants to feel understood, yet it's something that can be so hard to give to someone. Long-time friend and now brother-in-law, Gideon and I discuss the ways that we fail in this arena. We talk about times that we tried to make sure that we were understood first and we talk about ways that we blatantly did not try to understand our wives. We come to the conclusion that even just the tiniest bit of understanding can make all the difference and we set a goal to achieve this.
