✝️ You have to make your faith your own! In this episode of "I Reckon That's the Truth," Maverick Houston shares his experience growing up trying to be a “good kid," yet quickly learning he couldn’t do that on his own. As he grew up, he started to get involved with the Christian community, which pushed him to grow in his walk with God. As he entered college, he realized he had to make a decision: to commit to God or fizzle away. He chose to find community and accountability and pursue God daily. Even though he can never be perfect, he knows God loves him and wants a relationship with him.   🎙️ Featured Guest: Maverick Houston is a very involved college student, and ministers to his surroundings daily. He is currently studying Commercial Songwriting at Middle Tennessee State University. He began to gain interest in studying songwriting after performing a song he wrote in eighth grade with an artist who's in the Country Music Hall of Fame. Through his gifts and undeniable love for Christ, Maverick never leaves a room without making someone smile and feel a glimpse into the peace God offers His children.
