Behaviour is a language; one we should all become fluent in. When someone’s words don’t match their actions, it’s important to be informed by the way they show up and behave, rather than some hollow words spoken. This includes us, as First Responders and Emergency Services Members. The behaviours we choose to engage in, or lack their of in some circumstances, are the language in which we communicate to those around us. How much we care about them and equally, ourselves.
