In this episode, I talk about the speaking section of the IELTS exam. I give an overview of what it is, what tasks you'll be required to do and how it will be assessed.

I describe the marking criteria and what you'll be expected to do if you want to get a mark above a band 7. I don't just describe the marking criteria but give you concrete examples of how you can go about improving your mark and what it might look like.

I also explain how you can focus on each of the four areas to help you improve your mark, including recommending resources.
