The incredible Phil Rosenthal the award winning Executive Producer and Host just received the Award of Excellence at the Rockies yesterday!
Phil’s story is truly inspiring. Born to German Jewish parents in Queens, he grew up in New City, New York, and after college at Hofstra, he started in acting before shifting his focus to writing and producing.
He co-created and brought to life “Everybody Loves Raymond”, a sitcom based in part on Ray Romano’s comedy—one of his biggest successes. Phil shares how he and Ray decided to end the show, despite its popularity, because they believed it was the right move. He’s written 21 episodes and played a huge role in shaping the series.
Beyond TV, Phil’s passion for food and culture led him to host “Somebody Feed Phil”, exploring the world one city at a time. He’s also authored “You’re Lucky You’re Funny” and directed projects like a White House video for Bill Clinton.
His journey is a testament to perseverance, humor, and creativity.
