Episode 003: The Forest is a Dancer; The Fan Who Wasn't There

This week we have two stories that are a bit shorter, about 1,500 words a piece. The first, in honor of Earth Day, is a climate fiction slipstream story titled, "The Forest is a Dancer" by Lynne Sargent. The second is a ghost story from William Shaw titled, "The Fan Who Wasn't There."


AUTHOR BIOS


Lynne Sargent is a writer, aerialist, and holds a Ph.D in Applied Philosophy. They are the poetry editor at Utopia Science Fiction magazine. Their work has been nominated for Rhysling, Elgin, and Aurora Awards, and has appeared in venues such as Augur Magazine, Strange Horizons, and Daily Science Fiction. William Shaw is a writer from Sheffield, currently living in the USA. His writing has appeared in Strange Horizons, Daily Science Fiction, and The Georgia Review. You can find his blog at https://williamshawwriter.wordpress.com/ and his Bluesky at @williamshaw.bsky.social.
