Fair value creation - how to make supply chains more sustainable | #6

Multinational companies are increasingly forced to take responsibility for their entire supply chain. Besides hot topics like the reduction of Greenhouse gases, consumer and legislation (e.g. Act on Corporate Due Diligence Obligations in Supply Chains) demand decent working conditions and the respect of human rights along the supply chain.

Today, we have Peter Woerle as a guest who co-founded the Worlds Originals, a start-up which wants to change how coffee is traded. They help farmers to enter the market directly and give them the chance to become a holistic producer and economically sustainable.

Taking the coffee industry as an example we will talk about how to ensure a fair value creation by skipping the middle man and bringing value creation back to the origin country. We will learn more about how companies can make their supply chain more sustainable, economically, socially and environmentally, by strengthening their suppliers on the ground.

- Peter Woerle, Co-Founder of Worlds Originals
