Less than 20 women in the world have completed what is known as the greatest mountaineering challenge on earth—climbing each of the earth’s seven highest peaks.
Lei Wang 王雷, a mountaineer, motivational speaker, executive coach, is the first Chinese woman and the Asian-American who have successfully beat the record in climbing the Seven Summits — Mountain Kilimanjaro, Denali, Elbrus, Aconcagua, Carstensz Pyramid, Vinson, and Everest—are the highest peaks on each of the seven continents and skied to both the North Pole and the South Pole, the so-called Explorers Grand Slam.
Lei Wang appeared as a guest on CityLine, WCVB Boston Channel 5’s award-winning urban news and feature magazine program.
A graduate of Tsinghua University in Beijing, Lei came to the US to study computer science and later earned an MBA at the Wharton School.
A story from a bookworm turns mountain conqueror, Lei Wang wrote her own legend.
I feel grateful to invite Lei Wang as my guest for my first talk show.
