Each week we read a chapter from the book, complete the discernment exercises, which are key to putting in practice the learnings from the book and then we come together for 1.5 hours and share what God has spoken to us from the chapter and the exercises.
We hear the voice of God in community so as you read the book and work through the discerment exercises yourself, listening to how God has spoken to others, will confirm that yes, you are hearing the voice of God for yourself.

This podcast is an introduction to the purpose of this podcast, which is the recordings of a group of people based in Brisbane, Australia, who are working through the book: "In Search of God's Will: Discovering a Life of Faithfulness and Purpose" by Trevor Hudson.
In this current season it is key for those of faith to be able to learn to discern the voice of God a lot more clearly than what perhaps we are doing.
Trevor's book is an excellent introduction to discernment plus it contains a lot of discernment exercises to put into practice the theory that Trevor presents. It is one thing to read the book, it is another thing to do the discernment exercises.
As we hear the voice of God in community, we thought it would be helpful to hear how God has spoken to us through highlighting key points from the chapter, but also the results of doing the discernment exercises.
