40. When is it too hot to trot...

Many equestrians pride themselves on not being fair-weather riders, but when does the not-so-fair-weather become dangerous? Better yet, how do we cool and keep cool our horses? There is a lot of misinformation roaming the equine world when it comes to cooling our horses, and a number of myths we need to debunk and questions to answer such as; Does cold hosing cause health issues, will your horse over heat if you leave excess water on them, and does your horse even need to be hosed or is shade good enough? In todays episode we answer these questions and more, to help keep our four legged friends safe during these steamy summer months.
