Some say that "modest is hottest," and that statement, alone, can be quite controversial. But, what if modesty is not about being the "hottest," or getting attention. What if it's not even about your outward appearance, at all, or how you decide to style it. In this episode, I sit down with vintage shop owner, Molade Aliyu, and mid-size influencer, Alyssa Patterson to discuss all things fashion and modesty, and how faith plays a role in it all. Both women share about their journeys into fashion, and give insight into how we as Christians can do a better job of viewing the topic of modesty. Some other things we touch on is, the battle of visuals and heart checks, and why men play a part in the talk about modesty.
