Salut, c’est Hugo! I created this podcast in 2017 when I was teaching at the French institute in Warsaw, Poland. My goal was to show my students that they could learn French naturally simply by listening to it. 30 million downloads later, I think we’re onto something!
Granted, it’s not a magic bullet. This method still requires hundreds of hours of practice. That’s why I’m doing my best to make these episodes as engaging as possible. I want you to get sucked into the topics so deep you forget that you’re ”learning French”. You’ll quickly realize that you’re capable of understanding a lot more French than you think.
The episodes get progressively more challenging, so I’d recommend starting from the oldest ones and working your way up. From episode 92, I’m joined by Ingrid, a French journalist and teacher, for more conversational style episodes.
