They’ve achieved great success since starting out in 2016. One week after playing for a great crowd at this year’s Smukfest they released their debut album ’Danse Macabre’. The future sure seems bright for the upcoming death metal band Baest, but how do the songs come to life and how does a band playing heavy metal demonstrate that their music is not just noise and screaming? Dynaudio met Svend Karlsson, rhythm guitarist in Baest, for a talk about creative processes and the road to recognition.
