Ep #37 – “Performed a Rare skull surgery on a six-month old.” – Dr Srijon Mukherji

Dr Mukherji shares how he manages to strike a work life balance in all these aspects of his life, as an entrepreneur, as a surgeon and as an artist?

Dr Srijon is Director of CIMS, in Kolkata as well Professor at Rama University, Kanpur, India. He is a self taught painter and a prolific artist. He has carved a niche of his own through his work in the speciality of Oral and Maxillofacial surgery and continues to not only operate and treat patients but also guide upcoming surgeons from other specialities like Plastic surgery and ENT along with Maxillofacial surgeons at his institute since last 15 years. He has published numerous clinical research papers which have featured in various international and national journals. Dr Mukherji has established a non-profit called Face Savers for the patients who can't afford to get operated. He has been tirelessly working since 20 years and aims to continue teaching young surgical hands as a service to the speciality and the community.
