Today, inspired by the world of service design in Amsterdam, I had the opportunity to speak with Alejandra Villacis Miranda, who shared her vision and experience of the Amsterdam startup scene and the TEDxAmsterdam Impact Program. We discussed the value of service design and how it differs from user experience design. We also talked about continuing as a freelancer, side hustling, and creating positive change. She mentioned that in her free time, she runs half marathons and is an ambassador for Free to Run, an organization that uses outdoor sports to develop leadership, wellness, and address gender inequality for girls and young women in conflict zones.
