On a November night in Key West, FL in 2017, friends Paula and Roger were hanging out and partying in Paula’s makeshift home nicknamed “The Treehouse.” Without warning, they were suddenly accosted by two masked men, leading to a tragic killing. The subsequent police investigation quickly mutated into a convoluted conspiracy involving drugs, coercion, and corruption. The result: a lone defendant representing himself in court swearing that he had been falsely accused - a man Paula swore was not one of her attackers…
