Hello everyone ! My name is Sarah and I am your host of Isle in Denial. This podcast is going to focus primarily on, but is not limited to, Irish cases, be it murder or missing persons, solved or unsolved. My main aim is to bring awareness to these cases as I don't often see Irish cases being covered in the true crime community. If you have any case suggestions let me know and I hope you enjoy

SOLVED: The brutal Murder of a loving family man - The case of Kenneth O'Brien

Disclaimer: I am currently getting used to some new editing software as the software i used to use is being removed so please be patient with me over the next few episodes as I try to figure it all out, my audio is very quiet after the intro and picks back up again at the outro. My sincerest apologies.

TW: Todays episode contains topic of suicide, if you feel you are unable to listen to such content at the moment, feel free to come back next week

In January of 2016, shortly after returning home to Dublin from Australia, Kenneth O'Brien's family had their life turned upside down after Kenneth turned up murdered and dismembered in Co. Kildare.

He leaves behind his Partner Eimear, 4 year-old Son Charlie, parents, Gary and Susan, siblings, aunts, uncles.

The family are truly heartbroken by the way he was portrayed in Court, claiming that was not the Ken they knew and loved.
