Actually, there's no thunderbolts or lightning in this chapter but there may as well be as we enter perhaps the darkest chapter in all ASOIAF. Down in the depths of shadow we reunite with Aeron as he undergoes...quite a bit. Ancient trauma, physical torture, questions that you think bend the mind until the visions kick in and show you what true brain shattering is. And all of it is swirling around and around a figure cloaked in darkness save for one terrible red eye. Yes this is the chapter of Euron Greyjoy and all that he could be about to inflict on us as circumstances go from awful to much much worse.
Hop aboard the Isle, if you dare, for conversations on the battle between ironborn and Redwyne, what the plan for Oldtown might be, the parts of Oldtown Euron doesn't even know about, maester-fallout, white-fire-women, reverse engineering, and talking about Asha because we need at least one damn positive out of this thing.
