Welcome back to Koalas’ Tricky Japanese 🐨✨ — Koatori for short!
In Episode 6we tackle two short but super tricky words: 「まだ」 (mada) and 「もう」 (mou).
👉 まだ = still / not yet
👉 もう = already / no longer
Examples:
・まだ食べます = I’m still eating.
・もう食べました = I already ate.
・もう食べません = I won’t eat anymore.
Sounds easy, right? But many learners get confused because the meaning flips depending on context.
These tiny words appear in daily conversations, casual chats, and yes — even on the JLPT.
Laugh a little, learn a lot, and make Japanese less tricky with Koatori! 🎧
