“Don’t tell anyone” seems to be a common statement in our church. We shouldn’t tell anyone our plans, goals, ailments, struggles etc. Is this from superstition? Does it stem from distrust? Even when members share their testimonies, they don’t share specifics. Galatians 6:2 calls us to bear one another’s burdens. Romans 12:15 tells us to rejoice and mourn together. James 5:13-15 encourages us to pray for one another for healing and repentance. So why is it so hard for us to share and encourage one another in the church?
