There has been a surprising rift in the Satmar Hasidic community over this year's NYC mayoral election. While this voting block tends to vote as one unit, Rabbis in the Satmar Ahronim political arm have disagreed on whether to endorse Zohran Mamdani, Andrew Cuomo or to remain completely apolitical.
