Canadian Broadcasting Icon Dan Shulman | Ep 153 | Great Canadian Sports Show

Dan Shulman, a prominent Canadian sportscaster, is the featured guest on Joe Tilley's Great Canadian Sports Show this week. Born in Toronto and a graduate of the University of Western Ontario, Shulman has had a distinguished broadcasting career. He began at the University of Western Ontario, covering university football and basketball, and later joined TSN as the play-by-play voice for Toronto Blue Jays baseball games. Shulman also worked for ESPN since 2001, covering baseball and college basketball. Notably, he called Barry Bonds's 754th home run in 2007 and was part of ESPN's Sunday Night Baseball crew. Shulman has received accolades for his work, including the Jack Graney Award for Best Voice in Play-by-Play. He is currently the play-by-play announcer for Toronto Blue Jays telecasts on Sportsnet and continues to contribute to ESPN's college basketball coverage.
