What does racism look like in Singapore? Growing up as Chinese Singaporeans, it’s easy to forget that what's normal to us, is often a privilege that our fellow Singaporeans of other races do not have.
This week, we chat with Saran, founder of @chaichatss, on what growing up as a minority race was like for her. She talks about embracing her roots, discriminatory encounters, standing up for herself, how to be an ally and most importantly, her hope for change. We absolutely adore Saran and we hope you'll enjoy the conversation as much as we did!
