Once upon a time, a man found a cocoon of a butterfly. (era uma vez / casulo)
One day a small opening appeared. He sat and watched the butterfly for several hours as it struggled to force its body through that little hole. (sentou / brigava / através)
Until it suddenly stopped making any progress and looked like it was stuck.. . (até / parecia que /preso)
So the man decided to help the butterfly. He took a pair of scissors and cut the remaining part of the cocoon. (pegou / tesoura / cortou / restante)
The butterfly then emerged easily, although it had a swollen body and small wrinkled wings..(embora / inchado / enrrugada)
The man continued to watch the butterfly, expecting that any minute the wings would enlarge and expand enough to support the body. (a qualquer momento / aumentar / suficiente / sustentar)
But that didn’t happen. The butterfly spent the rest of its life crawling around.
It was never able to fly. (gastou / rastejando)
Despite his kindness, the man did not understand one thing... (apesar de / bondade)
To prepare itself for flying, once it was out of the cocoon. (vôo / uma vez que)
Moral of the story: Our struggles in life develop our strengths. Without struggles, we never grow and never get stronger. (força / ficar mais forte)

Hello guys, how are you doing! Hope you fine!
I'm just passing by very quickly to say that today we will be starting a new program. For some time I have been thinking about doing something different, something cool, something that adds to you, you know, something meaningful. You see, learning and training English is cool, but studying purely the language or focusing only on the languague like grammar, rules, 10 most common phrasal verbs, etc is quite boring, demotivating, and honestely, you will have low result doing this. So when I teach English, you can notice it in my podcasts and videos, my focus is not on the language, because I know that it's inefficient to teach this way, and still boring ... so my focus is always on the knowledge, information, something that goes beyond the language, at the same time that you learn and train English, right. Learning a second language has to be something pleasant, something fun and exciting and this only happens if you focus on the knowledge and not on the language. Therefore, today we will be debuting or starting a daily news program, which is called Just Talking English News. Language is a tool for you to acquire knowledge and transfer knowledge, this is the reason why language exists. So, when you learn and train in this way, it's efficient and meaningful, and the result is extraordinary. Focus on the knowledge and information always. Listening to JTN you will be getting ready to listen to great news programs like BBC News, The Guadian, Wall Streed Jornal among others.
So come on, start your day informed while learning and training English.
