Dirk Mathews—Team Leader of We Sell Oklahoma Real Estate, Co-Owner of Iron Tiger Investments. Army Vet, World Traveler, Entrepreneur and all around rad dude. Based in OKC.
He was raised on a small ranch in Wyoming, the son of a preacher, built on grit and straight talk. He carried that into the Army Reserves from 2006–2012, becoming a Sergeant and deploying to Iraq with the 910th QM CO. Outside the uniform, he built hot rods and learned how to solve problems with his hands before he ever solved them with words.
After the Army, he hit the road with his bass guitar, touring the States and Europe with Blacklist Royals, then Australia and Japan with Red City Radio. Those miles are etched in his character like the tattoos on his skin: part punk rock, part philosopher, all lived experience.
Today, adventure takes new forms—motorcycles, scuba dives, mountain-bike trails… but the spirit’s the same. Dirk brings the same passion for adventure into his work life: with style, earnestness, and a direct approach that resonates with his clients. He helps Oklahoma families build wealth with honesty, trust, and intention.
Dirk and his wife, Emily, built The We Sell Oklahoma Team and Iron Tiger Investments together. They adopted their children in 2020, grounding their purpose in something bigger than ambition. At his core, Dirk believes in building community the way you build a good life; piece by piece, person by person, until nobody feels like they’re walking alone.
