Welcome to the Keep Moving Forward Podcast home page. I am a retired SFC from the United States Army, have worked as an ER nurse, and have personally experienced struggles with my own mental health. Throughout my journey I have found that treatments and therapy are various in options, and there is no one size fits all when it comes to mental health. Our mission is to ensure that information about mental health gets to those that need it the most, and that everyone knows there is more than one way to get and find help when you need it. Episode 3: Tia May

Tia May is a US Army Veteran as well as an aspiring race car driver. Tia talks candidly about her struggles with mental health and how she is now finding her path. Tia and I also highlight the difficulties of navigating the VA system and the difficulties it presents. We also highlight how traditional therapy isn't the best way for some to address their mental health concerns.

Tia is a graduate of 22zero.org, a non-profit that provides mental health services free of charge to veterans, law enforcement, first responders, and their families. She is also seeking any sponsorship opportunities to continue her aspiring racing career and to help her explore adrenaline therapy programs for veterans.
