In this episode, Carmen Pedraza shares her insider’s view of the migration crisis for the North American migration corridor. She talks about what it’s really like to work for an NGO, the challenges of advocating for migrants in a climate of resistance, and her love for free diving in caves as a way to reconnect and recharge.

Carmen is a SASI graduate (2019–2020 cohort) on a mission to “improve the lives of the most vulnerable people.” She’s doing just that as a migration expert at the Institute for Human Rights and Business.
