🎧 Honorable Mentions (Albums) Alright — these projects right here deserve a lil’ spotlight. They might not be on Billboard every week, but they’re definitely on repeat over here. Bun B & Cory Mo – Way Mo Trill (Deluxe) First things first — Bun B is still carrying the torch like it’s nothing. This album feels like Houston just pulled up, dapped you up, and told you to sit down and learn something. Young Smoove Translation: This is grown-man trill. Respect it. Cardi B – Am I The Drama (Ultimate Deluxe) Cardi said: “Y’all want more? Cool, I got time.” She gave us the deluxe to the deluxe like she’s trying to win Extra Credit of the Year. And yes — sis is still absolutely the drama. Wiz Khalifa – Kush & OJ: 15th Anniversary Edition Bro… fifteen years?? If this album shaped your personality like it did mine, go ahead and prepare to feel ancient — but also warm inside. Classic vibes, no skips. Mario – Mood Swings Mario is out here reminding everybody he’s one of the cleanest vocalists of his generation. This is “late-night drive with the windows cracked” energy. **Wale – everything is a lot. That title says it all. Wale is in his poet bag again — introspective, sharp, and seasoned. One of his strongest in a minute. Jim Jones – The Fall Before the Rise Capo refuses to retire and honestly? I respect the grind. This album feels hungry — like he’s rapping with something to prove again. 🎶 New & Classic Listens Alright, let’s get into what’s been spinning heavy on my playlist — new heat, classics, vibes for every mood. “Shawty Got Potential” – Tony Moxberg, Sheek Louch & Ghostface Killah This is that New York cipher energy — gritty, unfiltered, real rap. Ghostface slid on this like it was nothing. “It’s Been a Minute” – Wiz Khalifa ft. RMR Wiz been floating lately — real smooth, real mellow. RMR comes in sounding like he’s singing from the top of a mountain with a candle lit. “Out the Window” – Kehlani Kehlani said “I’m back and I’m focused.” This one is emotional, airy, and beautifully put together. “Skip My House” – Coco Jones Coco sings like she walks into the booth with a fresh wig, a fresh attitude, and her foot on people’s necks. This one is classy + confident. “P.O.L.O” – A$AP Ferg Now THIS is cardio. Ferg came in yelling like someone stepped on his Timbs — energy through the roof. “Manifest” – Moone Walker For all my spiritual playlist people — light your sage and press play. This is manifestation music for the soul. “Toot Toot” – Tweet Now hold on… y’all remember when Tweet used to have folks feeling way too grown for their age? “Toot Toot” is that silky, whispery, early-2000s R&B that’ll have you feeling mysteriously fine for no reason. Vocals soft, vibe sensual, energy undefeated. This one slides right in like warm butter — don’t sleep. “Heartbreaker Remix” – Mariah Carey ft. Da Brat & Missy Elliott Three legends on one track. Mariah floating, Missy rapping like a genius, Da Brat talking her talk — what more y’all need? “Download” – Lil’ Kim ft. T-Pain & Charlie Wilson A slept-on late 2000s joint. Charlie Wilson will bless ANY song he touches — even a Kim and T-Pain collab.
