Voor de vierde aflevering ging Ashley in gesprek met Upsammy. We spreken in Studio Pandora in TivoliVredenburg over Upsammy’s fascinatie voor klanken in de wereld om ons heen. Hoe integreert ze haar field recordings in haar muzikale composities?

Naast het uitbrengen van meerdere albums (haar meest recente album kwam uit in 2023 op het Berlijnse label ‘Pan’), is Upsammy ook al lange tijd bezig met live performances. Ze vertelt over haar speciale samenwerking met de visuele kunstenaar Jonathan Castro, waarmee ze onder andere in het Muziekgebouw aan ‘t IJ in Amsterdam speelde.
