It’s time for Ben and Miles to take a side-step into another world and jump into the Hellmouth. The cult classic, ‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer’, was cited by Russell T Davies as a major influence on his approach to the revival of ‘Doctor Who’ in 2005. 20 years on, is this still a valid claim? Is Buffy Summers the template for companion Rose Tyler? Was Anthony Head the 90s Doctor we never had? Did ‘Angel’ walk so ‘Torchwood’ could run? Or is this all just a tenuous excuse for your hosts to talk about their current hyperfixation? Bite me.
