Everything begins with the finished work of Jesus. He has already solved humanity’s greatest need. Through His death and resurrection, Jesus restores the human soul, healing what anxiety, pressure, loneliness, grief, and shame have worn down. Long before Jesus arrived, God promised through Ezekiel that He Himself would come as a true shepherd to seek the lost, bind up the injured, and strengthen the weak. In Jesus, that promise is fulfilled. He invites the weary to come to Him and find real rest, not as a distant idea but as a daily experience of walking with the Shepherd who brings peace, joy, and wholeness. Psalm 23 shows us how to live in this restoration. We make the Lord our shepherd, we walk closely with Him, and we choose His paths even when they lead through difficult valleys. He is with us, guiding, comforting, and preparing a table of abundance in every season. His goodness and mercy pursue us, and our future is secure in Him.
