Dr. Abby Hamilton is a Filipino-American who earned her masters in management and PhD in industrial/organizational psychology. She grew up in Tampa Florida and went to Stetson University and earned her degree in communication studies, which led her into a variety of career settings including retail, non-profit, healthcare, and education. She completed her doctoral dissertation on the topic of assertiveness. In her role as the Director of Student Services at Everglades University, she gets to help students find their best self to prepare for their future careers. She has coached for 10 years in real applicable communication skills, equipping people, specifically job seekers, with the words to boost their confidence and job attainment.
