
Hon’ble Sumana Shrestha is a member of the second federal parliament of Nepal. She is a member of the House of Representatives and was elected as the proportional representative of the indigenous community through Rastriya Swatantra Party. Sumana's leadership journey to the parliament started with responding to the urgent needs in the community amid the crisis. From mobilizing the community at the local level in advocating for conserving heritages of Kasthamandap to Rani Pokhari, Sumana has successfully led multiple movements. Above all, she has built self-sustaining systems in her professional career and voluntary endeavors.
