I remember my wedding day nearly 19 years ago. It was one of the happiest days of my life, as I was united in holy matrimony with the man I love, who loves me in return. It was a rainy November day, and just before the reception, I discovered that my white wedding dress was covered in clay up to my knees after descending to the waterfall in Yaremche for photos with our parents. I could have stressed out, trying to clean it off, but instead, I let it be. I was having fun, I was happy, and I was focused on the essence of the moment. A few hours later, I noticed my dress was completely white and clean again—the clay had dried and simply fallen away.

The upcoming conversation in the Leadership Kitchen reminded me of that happy day because it was centered on what truly matters. Despite poor internet and dogs barking in the background, we found a way to carry on our conversation and recording.
