Learning From Our Legends

Salam guys!

Join us on this podcast where we discuss everything -from our everyday issues as Muslim women in the West, to using our deen as a guide to navigate them.

And who better to take as examples than the people before us, such as the prophets, companions and the righteous individuals who came after them?

By redefining who our role models are, we can redirect our focus to seeking the pleasure of Allah and getting to Jannah, as the Prophet(ﷺ) said, “Whoever travels a path in search of knowledge, Allah will make easy for him a path to Paradise.”

(Muslim 2699)

May Allah bless this journey, and allow it to be of benefit to us all,

Ameen!

Fatimah Bint-Muhammadﷺ Pt 2

Salam guys!

This episode is 2/2 of Fatimah (ra), Which was poignant as we focus on the death of Muhammad (pbuh) and the rest of Fatimah (ra)'s life before her fathers death, as well as her own death. We touch on how these calamities affected Ali (ra). Next episode, we will be moving on to Maryam Bint-Imran (ra) who was the mother of Esa (AS).

DISCLAIMER -> We mentioned we will see if the narration is authentic about Ali (ra) not being able to hold Fatimah (ra)'s coffin and we were unable to find this.

Also, when we mentioned that the people were waiting for the good news that the prophet (saw) was getting better it was an assumption we put together.
