Todays heart centered conversation goes deep with Julie Parker - founder of the Beautiful You Coaching Academy. Julie takes us on her personal journey from the burnt out mental health worker to life coaching (when it wasn't even really a thing), to founding the Beautiful You Coaching Academy. Julie speaks about the pivot from from counseling to coaching and how that occurred organically. We learn how important the actual journey can be, as opposed to the goals. She speaks to the surprise aspect of creating a curriculum and the affects she witnessed on her students. As the Academy grew, we tap into capitalism and how serving people and holding space for them still requires administration, staff and fiscal responsibility. BYCA has now trained over 2000 life coaches. We hear how the rapid growth of the business requires the need for much compassion along with the commerce, as well as a very large support staff both personally as well as professionally. Julie's journey is continuing to grow and expand with her Priestess work and school as well as her books and podcasts.
