Notably, there are no known public photographs of Greta, and her name has been repeatedly misspelled in articles and records over the years, complicating efforts to accurately document her story. Her death and the wrongful suspicion cast on her partner, Roxanne Johnson shocked their community and left lasting harm.
Decades later, modern DNA testing linked Greta’s killing to the 1985 murder of Florence Eyssalenne, suggesting a possible serial attacker familiar with the apartment building. The suspect remains unknown, and a $50,000 reward is still being offered.
