Rita Bliven has an upcoming book, Canyons & Fireworks, which details her lifelong journey of healing from a debilitating avoidant attachment style. From this place of healing and love Rita has been able to enjoy an abundant life. In Canyons & Fireworks, she is honest about the cause, confusion, victories, setbacks, and the full process of healing. Rita's hope is that by sharing her story, she will encourage others to explore their own attachment styles.
Diagnosis: in the past it was considered an Attachment Disorder. Nowadays, the terms consist of: insecure, unhealthy, or extreme attachment style and more specifically an extreme avoidant attachment style.
