If you're a horror fan, odds are you've heard the news. Melissa Barrera has been unfairly fired by Paramount Pictures and the Spyglass Media Group after posting her thoughts on the ongoing conflict in the Middle East. In addition, Jenna Ortega has voluntarily removed herself from the project, slated for a 2024 release. As of now, it is unclear whether or not Ortega's exit was in response to Barrera's firing or if scheduling conflicts were a contributing factor as well.
