Meet Miaya Dangol KC. She was born and raised in Manchester but finds herself in the heart of the British Gurkha community effortlessly juggling multiple roles from being the vice-president of the Greater Rushmoor Nepali Community to advisor for Asian Mahila Association.
In this candid chat, Miaya talks about her own childhood and experiences of being Nepali in Manchester, raising two children as a single mother and the powerful role our stories can play in shaping not only our journey but helping others.
