WHERE IS YOUR TREASURE?
In this message, Mr. Kennedy Adofo explores the question “Where is your treasure?” based on Matthew 6:21, reminding us that whatever captures our hearts directs the course of our lives. Using the story of Samson (Judges 13–16), the sermon highlights that being called by God does not automatically guarantee faithfulness, alignment with God is where true strength lies. Mr. Kennedy encourages us to examine the voices, habits, and relationships that may be competing with God for their attention. The sermon warns that compromise eventually costs us, especially when our choices drift from God’s Word. Drawing from James 1:13–15, He explains how temptation begins with our own desires, growing into sin when unchecked. Yet even in failure, God’s mercy is greater than our shortcomings (Judges 16:28), and He remains close to us even when we feel far from Him. The message concludes with a call to: ● Stay connected to God ● Depend on the Holy Spirit ● Acknowledge our mistakes and seek repentance, trusting that God is always ready to restore us.
