Indigenous people believe that time is cyclical.We are a continuation of what has gone before and our experience carries the seeds for the future.Like the ripe fruit that falls to the forest floor to decay.Once bud.Once flower.Once fruit.Decay is an element of soil...life springs from decay.So is it any wonder then that we are energised when we come in contact with it? We may feel like we are afraid of it, but death has been giving us life.
