Where Your Treasure Is..

Matthew 6:21 says “For where your treasure is, here your heart will be also.”

Without a doubt, my children are the sparkle of my eye. They are my treasure and where my heart resides. Seems I waited all of my life to say / have that feeling and now that it’s here, the experience is so very different than I imagine. In part, my treasure is split, hurting and confused over circumstances, honestly, I put them in. Which then begs the question, am I truly valuing my treasure? Without hesitation, that answer is a resounding yes, Yes & YES! To the point of this episode..

Single parenting is incredibly overwhelming for us adults to process and work through. How then, do we expect out little ones to deal with the same, specially when, they are not even equipped with the necessary tools to lesson the impact.

In this episode, we dive right into it and I discuss one manner we are utilizing to cope with our transition, confront our stressors and (slowly but surely) move to the other side of this. The question is, what is your treasure and what will you do to ensure it’s protected and cherished?
